Qatar Airways has announced that it will fly direct between Doha and Dublin from June next year. The airline will utilise a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the route, which features custom-made seats and spacious cabins to provide a superior customer experience.
Business Class has 22 seats in a 1-2-1 layout, while Economy Class has 232 seats in a 3-3-3 layout. The Business Class seats convert into fully flat beds at the push of a button, featuring 17-inch entertainment screens and touch screen remote controls. In-seat power points and USB ports are available at every seat so passengers can charge their electronic devices during the flight.
Other perks of Qatar Airways Business Class include Giorgio Armani amenity kits, complimentary pyjamas and pre-flight rosé Champagne. The 787 Business Class cabin features a vaulted ceiling and recessed overhead bins to create a feeling of spaciousness, along with electronically dimmable window shades so passengers can adjust the amount of light coming into the cabin. Passengers flying from Dublin will enjoy a quick and convenient transfer at Hamad International Airport as they travel onwards to the more than 150 destinations on Qatar Airways’ global network. Business Class passengers have access to the luxurious and very large Al Mourjan Premium Terminal, which is ten times the size of an Olympic swimming pool. Facilities include an a la carte restaurant, business centre, games room and shower suites.
The new Doha-Dublin service will operate 7 days per week commencing June 12th 2017. Flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays will depart Doha at 01:25, landing in Dublin at 07:25. The return leg will leave Dublin at 08:50, touching down in Doha at 18:05.
Flights on Mondays Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays will take-off from Doha at 07:20, landing in Dublin at 13:20. The return leg will leave Dublin at 15:25, landing in Doha at 00:40 the following day.

Qatar Airways has opened 13 new destinations in 2016 year-to-date. These are: Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, Helsinki, Pisa, Birmingham, Yerevan, Marrakech, Ras Al Khaimah, Windhoek, Sydney Adelaide and Krabi. The airline will soon return to the Seychelles on 12th December.
