It is a recognised fact that Business and First Class travellers are heavily respected amongst airlines due to how often they travel and the revenue that the airline receives from them. In response, the airlines have dedicated their time to creating a luxury travel experience for their Business and First Class travellers to provide them with an incentive to continue travelling with them and also reward their loyalty.
There are a number of airlines who offer First Class travellers products and services to use from the moment they start their journey to the airport, all the way through to the lounges they wait in before their flights and the services they receive whilst in-flight. Emirates, however, is one of the airlines that is regarded as having one of the best First Class lounges, in-flight offerings, amenities and products available to their First Class passengers – in the world.
First Class passengers who decide to fly with Emirates can expected to be treated to a luxury experience from the moment they make their way to the airport; the airline offers an exclusive chauffeur service which enables passengers to be transported directly from their hotel to the airport, and vice versa. Similar to the Business Class fleet of cars that the airline operates, the First Class chauffeurs arrive on time to transfer guests quickly and conveniently to the airport’s Business and/or First Class area for departures.
Once First Class passengers arrive at the airport, they are greeted with an enormous area for premium passengers to check-in. Both First Class and Business Class passengers have dedicated desks to offload their luggage; following this, First Class passengers can make their way through a quick security clearance.
After being checked in, First Class customers are encouraged to visit the First Class Lounge which is situated in Terminal A and packed with goodies, amenities, products and services all designed to keep passengers entertained whilst they wait for their flight. The First Class lounge actually covers an entire floor across Concourse A with everything from duty free shopping, restaurants, help desks, a number of seating areas and of course, the departure gates themselves. The Business Class lounge similarly takes up an entire second floor of the Concourse meaning both can be very busy at any one time. As there are fourteen seats equipped on each of the airline’s Airbus A380 flights, there is the potential for almost 170 First Class passengers to be using the First Class lounge at the same time. Whereas, the Business Class cabin on-board the aircrafts are equipped with 76 passengers; so, more than 900 Business Class passengers could be making use of the Business Class lounge simultaneously.
Once guests have settles themselves inside the First Class lounge and relaxed into their surroundings, there is a variety of food choices on offer for passengers to snack or dine on. The menus which are available in the First Class lounge are designed to offer temptation; a number of dishes also take their influence from cultures and cuisine from all across the globe in order to create a gourmet selection of mouth-watering dishes for First Class passengers to indulge in. Both cold and hot food are available from the International Buffet, as well as a traditional la carte menu and a juice bar where passengers can request freshly squeezed juice and a selection of cocktails.
From visitors and reviewers alike, the First Class lounge is consistently rated one of the best in the world next to the Thai First Class Lounge & Spa facility which is situated in Bangkok and the Lufthansa First Class Terminal which is located in Frankfurt Airport.
