First Class seats in Thai Royal First cabin are the newly installed and designed sleeper seats; each seat is controlled by electronics and can recline up to 180 degrees to provide passengers with a comfortable seat to rest, relax or sleep in throughout their flight. When reclined and stretched out to their full extent, the seats measure up to seven feet.
In-flight entertainment is available in each seat as they are installed with on demand audio and visual capabilities. The Royal First Class cabin experience presents First Class travellers with a plethora of dining opportunities to emulate a restaurant or private club; each passenger’s preferences are taken into account and meals can be served when the passenger decides the timing is suitable. The ambience and hospitality provided by the staff ensure that guests do not feel they are dining in the air, but are instead indulging in the luxury of a gourmet restaurant.
Each meal is presented excquisitely to refinroce the luxury feel of travelling in First Class; the chefs that are working with Thai Airways have a number of years of experience in them which has allowed them to become skilled and create a menu that offers a range of international tastes. When dishes are served, they are placed upon proper table linen and guests can enjoy drinks from crystal glasses. The menus are created with innovation and variety in mind; however, for First Class passengers on selected flights such as those which are departing from Bangkok, a ‘Chef on Call’ service is also available.
