Located in the Jamaica neighbourhood of Queens, John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) is one of the busiest airports in the United States and the main international air hub in New York City. There are over ninety domestic and international air carriers operating from its six terminals, numbered 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, and 8, and a total of 131 gates. Over 60 million passengers fly every year through JFK to and from destinations all across the world.
Being such a large-capacity airport, JFK also boasts no less than 24 lounges that can make your travel experience a lot more enjoyable. Airport lounges offer a great way to pass the time during short or long layovers as they provide a series of facilities such as comfortable seating, sleeping areas, Wi-Fi, food and drinks, entertainment options and even showers and spas. They can be accessed with a Priority Pass membership or by purchasing single-entry passes.
Therefore, if you happen to be trapped at JFK for a few hours, the lounges here can serve as an oasis of peace and comfort in a bustling environment. However, not all lounges are created equal, so if you want to find out which JFK lounges are best, here are a few recommendations.
