It’s only accessible by boat due to the impressive limestone cliffs that enclose the beach, but there are plenty of colourful long-tail boats waiting to take you to your own piece of paradise, so you can stand in awe at the breath-taking vistas out to sea.
Thung Teao Forest National Park – If it’s nature you’re looking for, head to Thung Teao Forest National Park and go in search of the many different kinds of plants and animals that live there. Phi Phi Islands – If you’re hoping for turquoise water lapping gently onto white sandy beaches, the Phi Phi Islands have it all. There are two islands – Phi Phi Don is busy with tourists and locals alike, but it’s a fun place to hang out with plenty of restaurants and bars to while away the evening. Phi Phi Ley is a small island just offshore and it’s there you’ll find Maya Bay, made famous by the movie – The Beach. As the boat approaches, you’ll think there is not much to see, but as it rounds the corner, you’ll witness a pristine white beach with ridiculously clear water. It’s simply stunning.
