When on business class travel to Lagos, Ikoyi is an area to take note off. It is located conveniently near the airport and has some of the nicest accommodation that Lagos has to offer. Ikoyi also boasts a range of night clubs and bars perfect for relaxing or unwinding in.
There are certain areas that are completely no-go after dark. These sound be noted before arriving in Lagos. When on business travel it is a sensible idea to avoid some of the local markets and empty streets during the night, unless in a large group. These have a tendency to be hotspots for touts and criminals. Under large bridges should also be avoided at night despite convenience, they are home to many criminals and are a danger to you.
