For a luxury beach holiday it is many peoples dream to visit the beautiful island of Barbados. First class flights to Barbados are easy to find because when you travel to Barbados you usually want to do it with a sense of luxury. Barbados is generally a warm place throughout the whole year. However generally it is wise to avoid traveling there during September and October as this is hurricane season and weather is very unpredictable. If you want to be assured as much as possible of great weather then should try and visit early on in the year, before May where ever possible.

There are so many luxury hotels and resorts in Barbados that it is hard to single out just a few to recommend. The type of accommodation you book is down to personal preference. If you have a family to consider then there are loads of luxury hotels to choose from. Many of these have their own private beaches, swimming pools and activities to suit all ages. If you want something more private then you could look at a private apartment. You can book these with staff so that you don’t have to worry about chores through out your stay.

Getting around the different areas is easy with plenty of public transport options as well as hire cars on offer.

The atmosphere throughout Barbados is relaxed and laid back. Locals are happy to see tourists and you will generally receive a warm, friendly welcome where ever you go. However like anywhere tourists can be targeted so you should try and avoid traveling alone, especially at night.
Remember that the sun is hotter than we are used to here. You should always ensure that you drink plenty of water and use sun cream.
