Air France has announced it will launch flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Taipei on 16th April 2018. The route will be operated by a Boeing 777-200 equipped with the latest long-haul cabin products, including 40 Business Class seats.
There will be three flights per week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with flight AF552 departing Paris at 13:35, touching down in Taipei at 8.15am the next day. Flight AF557 leaves Taipei at 10:25, arriving at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 18:20.
Air France’s new Business Class is arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration with direct aisle access at every seat. The seat has a cocoon-like shell and adapts to the shape of each individual, converting into a real 2-metre long bed. The best is made comfortable with an XXL feather down pillow and a soft duvet in glacier blue and warm grey, while the storage compartment contains a mirror and noise-reducing headphones.
Air France’s entertainment system is large by business class standards, measuring 16-inches and packed with varied programming, including movie classics and blockbusters, foreign films in the original language, concerts, documentaries, TV series, music and games. Each seat has been designed to function as an office, entertainment lounge and bedroom, so passengers can expect to find everything they need, including a generous tray table, USB ports and power sockets.
The new Taipei service has been launched to compliment KLM’s current 7-times weekly service from Amsterdam-Schiphol to Taipei.
