British Airways is launching a new direct service from Heathrow to Marrakech this winter. The airline will add a four-times-weekly service from Terminal 5 to the Moroccan city from October 28th 2018.
Flights will depart on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, meaning passengers can enjoy a winter weekend getaway to soak up the sunshine. BA will be utilising an Airbus A320 on the route which is fitted with the airline’s Club Europe Business Class product. Passengers enjoy dedicated check-in desks, lounge access, priority boarding, complimentary food and drink and a larger baggage allowance as part of the Club Europe experience.
British Airways already offers direct flights from Gatwick to Marrakech eight times per week, so the addition of the new Heathrow service will provide an even greater choice of times and airports for travellers.
Sean Doyle, British Airways’ Director of Network and Alliances, said: “Marrakech adds another exciting destination to our leisure network at Heathrow and is a fantastic starting point to explore Morocco; from trekking in the Atlas Mountains to discovering the amazing deserts and beaches and soaking up the atmosphere of the many medinas. Marrakech is one of the key tourism destinations in north Africa, so we’re excited to serve it from two of our London airports.”
Return fares start from £332 in Club Europe, and customers can choose to cut the cost of flights by using Avios part payment.
