Next generation Emirates Airbus A380
The A380-388Q still features the much-loved Onboard Lounge and First Class Shower Spas, but boasts new improvements such as an elegant new Business Class cabin and an extra 25 seats in Economy.
The new Business Class cabin has a higher ceiling to create a more spacious and luxurious feel, along with larger overhead lockers that are concentrated in the middle aisles. The aircraft has also been reconfigured, with the relocation of the rest area making room for more Economy passengers. The First and Business Class cabins still remain the same size with 14 and 76 seats respectively.
Emirates has a total of 52 A380s on order with a total of 7 due for delivery this fiscal year. The next generation A380s are expected to serve more ultra-long haul routes.
New generation Boeing 777-300ER
The Business Class cabin on the 777-300ER has also been given a revamp, with enhanced seats that recline to fully-flat beds measuring 78 inches in length. Each seat now boasts a personal mini-bar and the largest entertainment system in Business Class at 23 inches. The lavatories have also been given a fresh look with new wood finish, improved lighting and new designs on the sidewall panel.
There will still be 8 First Class seats and 42 Business Class seats, but the Economy Class cabin will feature an extra two seats, taking the capacity to 306 seats.
Emirates has a total of 27 boeing 777-300ERs on order, with six due to be delivered this fiscal year.
