Lufthansa has introduced new premium amenity kits for First and Business Class passengers. The new First Class amenity kit, which is already available onboard, won first place at the Onboard Hospitality Awards 2018. Over one thousand readers of the trade magazine Onboard Hospitality voted, crowning Lufthansa with the award in the category of “Best for First”.
The ladies’ Windsor Amenity Kit, designed by Skysupply, features a detachable carrying strap so that the bag can be used as a handbag or clutch.The men’s model is classic and functional with a modern design that can be used in everyday life, both as a travel bag and as a practical organiser. Both versions contain exclusive products from La Prairie.For Business Class customers Lufthansa has introduced Reisenthel Amenity Kits, which will appear onboard from July. Designed by Spiriant, the bags come in three different versions and are filled with high-quality cosmetics from L’Occitane.
During product development, the designers took into account sustainability, creating bags that can be reused after the trip. From mid-July the airline will also introduce “Around the World” Amenity Kits in Premium Economy, which are ideal for reuse as shopping or beach bags. With five different designs (Eiffel Tower, Brandenburg Gate, Frankfurt Skyline, Statue of Liberty and Golden Gate Bridge) these will make great collectors items for those who travel with Lufthansa regularly.
