Qatar Airways has announced it will launch direct flights from Doha to Pattaya in Thailand from 28th January 2018. The airline says it is introducing this new route after recognising increased customer demand for service to Thailand. Located on the southeast coast of Thailand, Pattaya and nearby Rayong are popular holiday destinations for sun-seekers looking to enjoy the region’s exotic beaches and local culture.
This new four-times-weekly service will Qatar Airways’ fifth destination in Thailand after Bangkok, Krabi, Phuket and soon-to-be-launched, Chiang Mai, which commences on 12th December.
Flight QR828 will depart Doha on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 20:05, touching down in Pattaya at 06:30 the following day. Flight QR829 will depart Pattaya on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 07:50am, landing in in Doha at 11:40am the same day. Passengers from London or other UK cities will easily be able to connect in Doha and onwards to Pattaya. The service will operate over the winter season, when holidaymakers from throughout Europe flock to Thailand in search of warmer weather.

Qatar Airways currently holds the title of ‘Airline of The Year’ as awarded by the prestigious 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards and will operate the service using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with 22 seats in Business Class.
