Virgin Atlantic plans to launch a new route from London Heathrow to Las Vegas from March 31st next year. The airline will operate the route with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner fitted with 31 Upper Class seats.
The airline will also introduce a second daily Boston flight from March 31st 2019 operated by an Airbus A330-300. Capacity on the route will be boosted with an additional 100,000 seats, meaning more passengers can experience Virgin Atlantic’s Business Class between the UK and East Coast USA.
A seasonal service to Barbados will also be re-introduced between December and February 2019, providing the only direct link between London and the Caribbean island.
Shai Weiss, chief commercial officer for Virgin Atlantic, said: “From spring 2019 we’re making it even easier for customers to travel from London Heathrow to Las Vegas and Boston by introducing new flights.
“The new services have been timed to offer convenient onward connections for UK and US customers, and feature our award-winning service, a three-course meal and inflight entertainment on every flight.”
